Bishop Lewis Ree Clark
Lewis R. Clark, was born on July 12th, 1964 to the late Cleo Clark of Lakeland Georgia and the late Wille C. Mathis of Naylor Georgia. He is a native of Lakeland Georgia. After graduation from Lanier County High School in 1982, he joined the United States Marine Corps and retired after twenty years of faithful service in 2002 at the rank of First Sergeant.
During his time in the Marine Corps, he graduated from noncommissioned officer leadership course, Staff noncommissioned officer leadership course, Advanced noncommissioned officer leadership course, First Sergeant course and numerous other certificate courses.
During his time in the United States Marine Corps, he held numerous key leadership positions to include commissioned officer positions. He was handpicked as a First Sergeant to fill the office of Sergeant Major of a newly formed battalion where he oversaw the massive task of assuming administrative control of over 900 students.
In 1998, he was ordained as a Deacon at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in New Haven Michigan under the leadership of the late John L. Mack.
In 2000 he was licensed to preach the Gospel as he may have opportunity, and to exercise his gifts in the work of the Ministry at Living Word Full Gospel Church in Jacksonville North Carolina under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Cyrus James.
In 2001 he was ordained a minister of the Gospel at Living Word Full Gospel Church in Jacksonville North Carolina under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Cyrus James.
In 2004 he was inspired by God to established a place of worship in Lakeland Georgia. Currently, he is the Pastor and Founder of The Word of God Outreach Ministries in Lakeland, Georgia where he has been the Pastor since 2004.
In 2014 he established a Nursing Home Ministry at the South Georgia Medical Center Lakeland Villa Nursing Home. He provides a community service for those who are unable to attend regular worship service. He also provides transportation for those who desire to attend regular worship service.
In 2015 he became a Volunteer Chaplain for South Georgia Medical Center, Lanier Campus. He continues to fulfill his duties and obligations of Volunteer Chaplain.
In 2019 he was Consecrated a Bishop at Ministry of Life Ministries Christian Center International, Valdosta Georgia under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Jessie Marshall, III.
He is enrolled in The Middle Florida Theological Seminary and Bible College, Valdosta Georgia Satellite Bachelor degree program in pursuit of a Masters degree in theology. He is a servant and his life is dedicated to helping people in need as well as encouraging men and women to live the life that God has chosen for them.
He is married to the former Valerie Pickett of Hawkinsville Georgia. He has four sons, Lewis R. Clark Jr. (Deceased), Brandon Lewis Clark, Cory Clark and Rayshon Clark.
